Singer Milionário's Niece Fernanda Dies in Brazil, Police Probe Accident

Fernanda, a 22‑year‑old woman and niece of Brazilian sertanejo singer Milionário, was found seriously injured in Mogi Mirim, São Paulo, and later died. According to her husband Geovane, she fell from a motorcycle while delivering groceries to her mother. Police Civil investigators have highlighted several inconsistencies: the spot where her body was discovered does not match the usual route to her mother’s house; medical examinations reported facial injuries and multiple fractures that are not consistent with a simple motorcycle fall; and the motorcycle showed only minor damage. Fernanda’s mother testified that, when she entered the apartment to retrieve clothing for the funeral, no garments belonging to Fernanda were found. The authorities have opened an inquiry to determine whether the death was an accident or involved other factors.
