Singer MONO named Hue cultural heritage ambassador

Singer MONO, born Nguyen Viet Hoang, has been officially appointed as the Ambassador for Promoting Hue Cultural Heritage for the 2026–2030 term. The announcement was made on August 29 at Ngo Mon Square during a ceremony organized by the Hue People's Committee.

As an ambassador, MONO is tasked with using music, digital media, and creative content to connect the youth with the historical and cultural values of the ancient capital. The Hue Festival Organizing Committee noted that his previous musical works, such as ‘Cong tu van tho’, have already contributed to promoting Hue's image through contemporary artistic language.

The role aims to modernize heritage promotion by creating a bridge between traditional history and modern life, encouraging younger generations to actively explore, appreciate, and preserve the cultural legacy of Hue.
