Singer Monroe to perform for Pope Leo XIV at Stade de France

Franco-American singer Monroe has been selected to perform at a youth vigil in the presence of Pope Leo XIV. The event is scheduled to take place on September 25, 2026, at the Stade de France.

Monroe, 17, rose to prominence after winning the talent show ‘Prodiges’ and representing France at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, where she achieved an 11th-place finish. A practicing Catholic, the soprano has expressed a deep connection to sacred music, having begun her musical journey singing in her church choir in Brigham City, Utah.

The performance is expected to be held before an audience of approximately 80,000 young people during the Pope's visit to France.
