Singer Đăng Khôi represents Vietnam in Silk Way Star music competition

Vietnamese singer Đăng Khôi is representing Vietnam in the second season of the international music competitionSilk Way Star.” The program is a collaborative television project between China Media Group (CMG) and the Presidential Broadcasting Corporation of Kazakhstan, established within the framework of the 2025 China-Central Asia Summit.

Đăng Khôi is one of 12 artists competing from various nations, including China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Malaysia, Turkey, Serbia, South Africa, New Zealand, Brazil, and Georgia. The competition features 10 themed performances to determine the “Silk Way Star” title.

To promote Vietnamese culture, Đăng Khôi utilized the traditional “nón lá” (conical hat) featuring gold dragon patterns during his debut. He also prepared several conical hats as gifts for the judges and fellow contestants from the other 11 participating countries to foster cultural exchange.
