Singer Phuong Vy Idol receives surprise proposal at wedding fashion show

During the opening night of Vietnam Wedding Week 2026 on August 22, singer Phuong Vy Idol was surprised with a marriage proposal during a fashion show. The event, themed ‘The Love City’, featured collections by designer Nguyen Minh Tuan.

Phuong Vy Idol and her 10-year-old daughter, Ailani, participated in a mini-show, walking the runway in coordinated white designs. During the finale, Phuong Vy’s husband, Sean Trace, walked onto the catwalk and knelt to propose with a ring in front of the audience and models.

The gesture marks a milestone for the couple, who have been married for 11 years following their 2015 wedding. The moment went viral on social media following the emotional event.
