Singer Pompilia Stoian returns to Bucharest for CD launch

Romanian singer Pompilia Stoian, known for her hit song ‘Prieten drag’, has returned to Bucharest from Germany for a 10-day visit. During her stay, she participated in three major events, including a collection CD launch at the Constantin Tănase Revue Theatre.

The new CD, released by Eurostar, features 19 of her most famous songs. Her signature track, ‘Prieten drag’, originally composed by Radu Șerban, won the Grand Prize at the Mamaia Festival in 1966 and was later recognized as the ‘Song of the 20th Century’ by Radio România.
