Singer Rahul Sipligunj faces legal case in Visakhapatnam

Telugu singer Rahul Sipligunj and 11 others are facing legal action in Visakhapatnam following a complaint filed by a woman. The case was initially registered at the MVP Colony police station before being transferred to the Endada Women Police Station.

The complainant alleged that Karpurapu Rahul Reddy, identified as Sipligunj’s brother-in-law, deceived her with a promise of marriage and subsequently blackmailed her using personal photographs and videos. The woman further alleged that Sipligunj threatened her during the dispute and pressured her to provide video statements against her will.

Police have registered an FIR involving charges of threats and cyber harassment. An investigation is currently underway to examine the evidence and the specific roles of the accused.
