Singer Reimagined launches Heritage V72 watch with restored Valjoux 72 movement

Singer Reimagined has introduced the Heritage V72, a limited‑edition chronograph powered by a fully restored new‑old‑stock Valjoux 72 movement. The 38.8 mm case is available in stainless steel (50 pieces) or 18‑k gold (20 pieces) and features glass‑box sapphire crystals on both front and back, allowing the hand‑finished movement to be seen.

The watch adopts a classic three‑register Compax layout with sub‑dials at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, a matte stone‑grey dial for the steel version and a matte black dial for the gold version, both finished with gold‑applied hour markers and the brand’s signature orange‑lit hands. The restored Valjoux 72 has been disassembled, polished, frosted and blued, showcasing the calibre’s historic column‑wheel chronograph architecture.

Only 70 units are being produced, emphasizing the model’s status as a bespoke “restomod” that celebrates the iconic Valjoux 72’s legacy while offering modern finishing and design cues.
