Singer Saint Janet's children recount her final moments

The children of veteran Nigerian Juju and Highlife musician Iyun ‘Saint Janet’ Ayilore have shared details regarding the singer’s final hours. In a recent interview with Alore TV, her children, Omowunmi, Orinayo, and Fola, recounted that the singer experienced sudden chest pain and breathing difficulties shortly before her death.

According to her daughter Omowunmi, the singer appeared healthy and performed at an overnight event in Sango, Ogun State, the night before she passed. The following day, after visiting a market and preparing a meal, the singer began clutching her chest and struggling to breathe.

Family members rushed her to the hospital, where medical staff immediately provided oxygen. However, her son Orinayo noted that while she was being attended to, she lost her pulse and passed away. The singer's death was previously confirmed by her manager on August 2.
