Sarah Zucker announces birth of first child
German Schlager singer Sarah Zucker has announced the birth of her first child, a son, following a period of public absence. The 36-year-old artist shared several photos on Instagram on October 1, 2026, showing herself and her baby in a coastal dune landscape.
Zucker, the younger sister of singer Ben Zucker, had previously announced her pregnancy in November 2025. She chose to step away from the public eye and large-scale Schlager shows to focus on her new role as a mother. While she confirmed the baby is a boy, she has not yet disclosed the child's name or exact birth date.
In her social media update, Zucker expressed that her life has changed in the most beautiful way, describing the recent months as a time of “first times, small moments, and quite large feelings.” She also thanked her fans for the many kind messages received during her hiatus.
