Singer Tùng Dương sells 15,000 concert tickets in six hours

Vietnamese singer Tùng Dương has seen significant ticket sales for his upcoming live concert, ‘Bay Về Phía Mặt Trời’ (Flying Towards the Sun). Following the start of sales at noon on October 28, 8,000 tickets across four specific zones sold out within the first hour. By 7:00 PM that same day, total sales reached 15,000 tickets.

The concert is scheduled for December 19 at the Mỹ Đình National Stadium, marking the singer's first large-scale outdoor solo concert. The event aims to host approximately 40,000 spectators. Tùng Dương noted that the high demand provides a boost of confidence after 25 years in the industry, particularly as he transitions from niche musical styles to broader public appeal.

The performance will feature a variety of musical styles and guest artists, including Hòa Minzy, GREY D, Phùng Khánh Linh, and songwriter Nguyễn Văn Chung. The setlist is expected to include songs about national identity and culture alongside tracks from his upcoming album.
