Singer Võ Hạ Trâm praised for memorizing complex song ‘Nhật Ký Của Mẹ’

Composer Nguyễn Văn Chung recently highlighted singer Võ Hạ Trâm for her ability to memorize the entirety of his song, ‘Nhật Ký Của Mẹ’ (Mother’s Diary). In a video shared on social media, Chung noted that Trâm is the only singer he has seen who can perform the full lyrics without assistance.

The song is considered particularly challenging due to its length of 8 minutes and 28 seconds, consisting of six distinct lyrical sections that follow different themes. This complexity makes it difficult for many performers to master the full text. Originally written by Chung in 2008 as a gift for his mother, the song gained widespread popularity after being performed by Hiền Thục in 2011.
