Singer Viki Lábas launches solo multidisciplinary project

Singer Viki Lábas, formerly of the band Margaret Island, is transitioning to a solo career following the group's dissolution after eleven years. To process this change, she has developed a multidisciplinary performance titled ‘Az én szívem játszik’ (My Heart Plays), which incorporates music, dance, and spoken word to explore femininity and the dilemmas of the Y generation. The performance is scheduled for October 14 at the Kodály Center.

Other cultural events in Pécs include a musical evening titled ‘Közös álmunk’ (Our Common Dream) on October 17, featuring Dóra Szinetár and Dávid Péter Cseh to support the Kerek Világ Foundation. Additionally, the Kodály Center will offer behind-the-scenes architectural tours, and the Cella Septichora Visitor Center will host nocturnal flashlight tours for children exploring the ancient walls of Sopianae.
