Singer Vincy So debuts with first single after singing competition win

Singer Vincy So (Su Yung-chun), a 21-year-old student from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, has officially debuted with her first single, ‘Walking on Air’. So previously gained recognition after winning the 2025 ‘Chill Club X THE FIRST TAKE: THE STAGE OF VOICE’ competition, which led to her becoming the first amateur singer from Hong Kong to record for the Japanese program THE FIRST TAKE.

During the filming of her music video, So underwent intense wirework training to depict a magical flying sequence. The production was noted for its high temperatures and physical difficulty, which led to an emotional moment for the singer. Following her signing with a record label, she also served as an opening act for singer Edmond Chan at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Her social media following has grown significantly from approximately 3,000 to 20,000 followers following her recent activities.
