Singer Yang Hee-eun celebrates birthday after cornea transplant

Yang disclosed that she underwent a cornea transplant in June and thanked the medical team at the National Cancer Center’s proton therapy unit. She said she is recovering well and continues to host MBC Standard FM’s “Women’s Era with Yang Hee-eun, Kim Il‑jung.” Fans expressed concern over her leg pain, which she attributed to a sudden ache, prompting her use of the cane.
