Singer Yukino Ichikawa shares recovery update after ovarian cancer battle

Singer Yukino Ichikawa shared updates on her recovery from ovarian cancer via Instagram, posting comparison photos to show her hair regrowth one year after undergoing chemotherapy.

Ichikawa's health issues began around 2023 with symptoms including irregular menstruation and abdominal pain. In June 2024, she was diagnosed with a suspected ovarian tumor and underwent emergency surgery. Following the procedure, she was diagnosed with stage 1 ovarian cancer. After completing six rounds of chemotherapy by December 2024, she officially returned to her singing career in February 2025.

In her recent post, she noted that her hair has grown significantly and that there have been changes in its texture, presenting a positive outlook on her physical recovery.
