Zlatan Ibile and Davita Lamai celebrate traditional wedding

Nigerian Afrobeats artist Omoniyi Raphael, known professionally as Zlatan Ibile, married his partner Davita Lamai in a traditional wedding ceremony on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The celebration featured attire that honored the couple's diverse cultural heritage.

For their first look, the couple wore Edo-inspired ensembles. Davita wore a custom burgundy mermaid gown by Dova Bridals, featuring a corseted bodice, intricate red beadwork, and a traditional Okuku crown with coral necklaces. Zlatan complemented her in a custom ivory outfit by Deji & Kola, accented with red beadwork, coral beads, and a carved wooden staff.

The couple later transitioned into a second look celebrating Zlatan’s Yoruba roots, utilizing a color palette of lemon yellow and mint green. Davita wore a two-piece design by Mazelle Bridal with mint-green floral appliqué, while Zlatan wore a matching mint-green agbada.

The star-studded event drew numerous prominent figures from the entertainment industry, including singer Davido, who participated as a groomsman, and fashion designer Veekee James. The couple, who share two sons, announced the wedding date earlier in October.
