Single mother in Malaysia battles stage four breast cancer

Salbiah Jamili, a 41-year-old single mother in Perlis, Malaysia, is battling stage four breast cancer while raising four children, including one child with a disability. Her struggles intensified following the death of her husband, Alias Kasim, who passed away at age 46.

Salbiah is currently undergoing chemotherapy and relies on a monthly allowance of RM600 from the Social Welfare Department (JKM) to support her family. Her eldest son is participating in a TVET welding program sponsored by the Perlis Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPs).
