Singleton Greyhounds advance to Group 21 grand final

The Singleton Greyhounds have secured a place in the Group 21 grand final following a 26-10 preliminary final victory over the Aberdeen Tigers at Pirtek Park. Skipper Blake Andrews led the team with two tries, helping Singleton establish a dominant 16-0 lead by halftime through additional tries from Cooper Meldrum and Max Stone.

Although Aberdeen narrowed the gap to 16-10 in the second half with tries from Preston Bateman and Eamon Gleeson, Singleton regained control. Andrews scored his second try in the 61st minute, and Jai Davies added a final try in the 72nd minute to seal the win.

Singleton will face Scone in the grand final this Sunday. While the Tigers missed the first-grade final, Aberdeen will still have three teams competing in grand finals, including their reserve grade, under-18, and women's tackle teams.
