Singtel and American Rare Earths weigh Nasdaq listings
Singapore telecom group Singtel said it is exploring a dual listing on Nasdaq and the Singapore Exchange (SGX) and is also considering a data‑centre real estate investment trust (REIT). The proposals remain at an exploratory stage with no decision on timing, scale or structure, according to remarks at the company’s annual general meeting. Shareholders also debated the reappointment of auditor KPMG after a confidentiality breach involving Singtel’s Australian unit Optus, but the board defended keeping KPMG.
American Rare Earths Ltd reaffirmed its commitment to list on Nasdaq, evaluating options such as a compliance listing and other transaction structures. The company is working with a North American financial adviser, progressing its PCAOB audit with BDO, and aligning its Halleck Creek rare‑earth project with U.S. defence‑supply‑chain priorities under Executive Order 14415.
