Republika Srpska leaders discuss election results and economic stability

Political leaders in Republika Srpska are addressing recent election outcomes and future governance. Milorad Dodik, president of the SNSD, characterized recent elections as a historical success and announced plans to visit all 407,000 households in the entity to gather feedback. He emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between Republika Srpska and Serbia.

Drasko Stanivukovic, leader of the Sigurna Srpska Movement (PSS), marked the movement's first anniversary, noting that PSS has become the second most powerful political organization in Republika Srpska and the strongest opposition force. He stated the goal is to become the leading political entity.

On the economic front, Siniša Mali, Vice President of the SNS Main Board, highlighted the stability of the Serbian dinar as a cornerstone of macroeconomic stability. He argued that a stable exchange rate controls inflation and encourages investment, projecting that average salaries could reach 1,700 euros and pensions 750 euros by 2030.

Meanwhile, debates continue regarding the composition of the Council of Peoples in Republika Srpska. Discussions involve the potential for SNSD-aligned Bosniak representatives to impact the mechanism for protecting vital national interests, with some officials warning that new constitutional changes could alter the balance of power.
