Sinj documentary wins award at Krk film festival

The promotional-documentary film ‘Siege of Sinj 1715 – Twenty years of scenic portrayal of history, faith and unity’ has won second prize in the documentary category at the 4th Tourist and Ethnographic Film Festival (TEF) in Krk.

Created by Ante Gugić, the film honors the collective work and dedication of over 150 participants involved in the historical-scenic spectacle ‘Siege of Sinj 1715’. This event has connected history, faith, and community for two decades. The festival, organized by the Association ‘Tragom hrvatske baštine’, featured over 130 entries from Croatia and other European countries.

In related tourism developments, the Sinj Tourist Board is expanding its digital presence through the ‘U-mrež-i Sinja’ project, following a successful pilot of virtual assistance tools. Additionally, regional authorities in Split-Dalmatia County are actively promoting heritage interpretation programs and hosting international travel agents and journalists to promote the city's cultural and historical assets.
