Sinj launches first Music Night during Alkarska Week, mayor calls for warm hospitality

The city of Sinj held its inaugural Sinj Music Night on 2 August at the Alkarski Dvor, featuring local musicians performing rock‑and‑roll, country and blues from the 1970s and 1980s. The event was organized by the Sinj Tourist Board as part of the Alkarska Week and Velika Gospa 2026 programme, with mayor Miro Bulj opening the evening and municipal officials presenting thanks to participants.

Ahead of the same cultural celebrations, Mayor Miro Bulj met with local restaurateurs, urging them to be courteous hosts for the influx of domestic and foreign visitors. He announced extended opening hours for restaurants, bars and cafés during the Alkarska Week and the Velika Gospa festivities, allowing operations up to three or four hours later, and unlimited hours on the main feast days.
