Sinj pilgrimage marked by personal journeys and physical challenges

Various individuals marked the feast of Velika Gospa through personal pilgrimages and physical challenges to the shrine of the Miraculous Lady of Sinj.

Lejdi Perković Jarnec, niece of Marko Perković Thompson, completed a nighttime pilgrimage on foot to Sinj. She shared on social media that the journey was physically demanding, noting moments where she felt she could not continue, but described her arrival at the shrine as a deeply emotional and fulfilling experience.

Actress Ecija Ojdanić also participated in the festivities by running 34 kilometers from Kljaka to Sinj. Ojdanić shared a personal anecdote regarding a past experience during the war in Split, where a candle fire nearly caused a serious accident, leading her family to honor the Lady of Sinj with a mass every year since. She noted that running has provided her with significant mental strength.
