Sinner & Saint explain departure from TNA Wrestling

Professional wrestlers Judas Icarus and Travis Williams, known as Sinner & Saint, have discussed their decision to request releases from TNA Wrestling during the summer of 2026.

Speaking on the podcast ‘In The Weeds’, the duo explained that the departure was not due to conflict, but a desire to focus on their specialty as a tag team. Judas Icarus noted that while they enjoyed working with talents such as Josh Alexander and Eric Young, they felt the promotion lacked interest in pushing them in the tag team division.

Williams stated that the move was about ‘betting on ourselves’ and seeking opportunities to prove their capabilities on the independent circuit. The pair has since returned to the independent scene, performing for various promotions across the United States and internationally.
