Sino Jet implements China’s first SAF compliance service for foreign business jets

Sino Jet and China National Aviation Fuel Co., Ltd. have successfully implemented China’s first Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) compliance service for foreign-registered business jets. The service was launched at Beijing Capital International Airport, marking a significant development in green aviation services for international business aircraft operating within China.

Previously, SAF services in China primarily focused on commercial passenger and cargo aviation. This new model addresses the specialized needs of international business jets, which operate with greater flexibility. The partnership aims to fill an industry gap by providing a compliant framework for the use of sustainable fuels by foreign-registered aircraft, supporting the civil aviation industry’s carbon peaking and neutrality goals.

Sino Jet has established a long-term target to achieve carbon neutrality across its entire fleet by 2035. The new service model is designed to work within existing airport infrastructure without requiring modifications to current refueling processes, ensuring that emission reduction rights are accurately attributed and transferable.
