Sinop conducts social assistance drive for 300 families
The Sinop City Hall, through its Secretariat of Social Assistance, conducted a service drive between October 17 and 21 to update and include families in the Cadastro Único (CadÚnico). The initiative provided services to more than 300 families across four different locations in the municipality.
To facilitate access, the program was decentralized to various sites, including the Palmeiras and Menino Jesus Social Assistance Reference Centers (CRAS), as well as the José Márcio de Mendonça Silva and Lizamara Aparecida Oliva de Almeida municipal schools.
Ivan Altíssimo, the coordinator of Cadastro Único in Sinop, stated that bringing the service closer to communities helps families who face difficulties reaching regular service points. Maintaining updated information is essential for correctly identifying families to ensure they can access federal social programs and benefits.
