Sinop implements sustainability fairs and social assistance programs
The municipality of Sinop is implementing several community-focused initiatives. The IV Sinop Sustentável event has launched, featuring fairs, technical seminars, and workshops on sustainability and agroecology. This event is a collaboration between the Sinop City Hall, Empaer-MT, Sebrae, Embrapa, and other regional institutions.
In terms of social services, the City Hall has begun weekly mobile assistance through the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) in the Alto da Glória region. These sessions provide access to social workers, psychologists, and guidance for federal benefits like Cadastro Único to residents facing mobility challenges.
Additionally, Sinop is hosting the 4th training cycle of the Unicef Seal, focusing on ethnic-racial equity in public policies. This training brings together representatives from 21 municipalities in northern Mato Grosso to strengthen the implementation of rights for children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds.
