Sinop hosts XV National Meeting of Education with teacher workshops

The XV National Meeting of Education (ENAED) has commenced in Sinop, Mato Grosso, bringing together students, teachers, and education professionals to discuss the challenges of public education. Held at the Universidade do Estado de Mato Grosso (Unemat) campus, the event is a collaborative effort between Unemat’s Pedagogy course and the Sinop City Hall through its Secretariat of Education and the Continuing Education Center (CEFORME).

The program includes several specialized tracks, such as the V Inclusive Education Seminar, the XVI Sinop Pedagogical Exhibition, the V Alfabetiza Seminar, and the Early Childhood Education Seminar. The Alfabetiza Seminar specifically focuses on literacy practices and learning recomposition, offering nine different workshop groups for teachers ranging from 1st to 5th grade, including specialized sessions in music, theater, and puppet theater.

Education Secretary Salete Rodrigues noted that the event aims to bridge the gap between scientific theory and classroom practice, reporting over one thousand registrations from teachers and academics participating in research presentations and pedagogical exhibitions.
