Sinop municipal programs offer tax discounts and vendor opportunities

The City of Sinop is concluding a major tax regularization phase through the 'Regulariza Sinop 2026' program. Taxpayers with municipal debts can benefit from an 80% discount on interest and fines. In-person applications for this specific discount tier end this Thursday (29), while online negotiations remain available until Saturday (31). While the program continues until December 1, the discount percentage is scheduled to decrease starting in November.

In a separate municipal initiative, the City of Sinop has finalized the allocation of vending spaces for the upcoming All Souls' Day (Finados) celebrations. A lottery was held to assign locations to 45 registered street vendors who will operate near the Santo Antônio Municipal Cemetery. The vendors will be concentrated on the pedestrian walkway of the State University of Mato Grosso (Unemat) on Dom Henrique Froelich Avenue from October 31 to November 2.
