Sinop Opens Registrations for 34th Olympic and 3rd Paralympic Games

The municipal government of Sinop, Brazil, announced on Friday (7) that registration is open for the 34th Sinop Olympic Games and the 3rd Sinop Paralympic Games. The events are part of the Festeja Sinop 2026 program and feature a range of new activities, including bowling and beach volleyball for the Paralympics. Several competitions will take place at Praia do Cortado, and a community cycling ride will run between the Residencial Paris neighbourhood and the beach.

The Olympic programme includes team and individual sports such as basketball, futsal, handball, volleyball, cycling, mountain bike, swimming, karate, table tennis, chess, 3×3 basketball, beach tennis, futevôlei and beach volleyball. The Paralympic programme adds athletics, swimming, table tennis, chess, beach volleyball and bowling for both men and women. Municipal Secretary of Culture, Sport and Tourism Gabriel Vasconcelos said the games are a traditional, highly anticipated event that promotes sport, social integration and human development in the community.
