Sinop students participate in environmental cycling tour

Students from the Escola Estadual Cívico-Militar Professora Edeli Mantovani participated in the 2nd Environmental Cycling Tour in Sinop. The event, held on Wednesday morning, concluded at the Sinop Municipal Forest Natural Park.

Supported by the Secretariat of Environment and Sustainable Development, the initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness, encourage the use of bicycles for mobility, and foster a connection between students and local natural spaces. The route was monitored by the Municipal Civil Guard, Military Police, and Military Firefighters.

According to history teacher José Aldair Pinheiro, the activity integrates classroom discussions regarding climate change and the necessity of building a responsible relationship between society and nature.
