Police in Sinsheim are searching for witnesses following the explosion of a mailbox on Schlesienstraße. The incident occurred around 02:15 on June 28, 2026, when a loud bang alerted local residents.

Investigators believe the mailbox was destroyed using an unknown substance. Two men were observed fleeing the scene: one on foot through a pedestrian passage and another in a silver Suzuki subcompact car heading toward Kurpfalzstraße. The estimated property damage is approximately 50 euros.
