Sint-Truiden VV qualifies for historic UEFA Europa League playoffs

Sint-Truiden VV (STVV), a club in the Belgian Pro League, has qualified for the UEFA Europa League playoffs for the first time in its history following a third-place finish last season.

STVV is scheduled to face Cyprus-based Omonia Nicosia in the first leg of the playoffs. The match will be broadcast live in Japan by the BS station BS10 on August 21 at 2:50 AM. The club has gained significant attention in Japan due to its history of developing players for major European leagues, including former and current Japanese internationals such as Wataru Endo, Daichi Kamada, and Takehiro Tomiyasu.

In addition to the live match coverage, BS10 will air a special 30-minute program focused on the club and its young Japanese players aiming for professional growth.
