Sintra hosts two major summer cultural events in July

The historic Valverde Sintra Palace of Seteais will stage the Bailados in Seteais on July 18 and 19. The two‑night program combines dance, history and gastronomy, with tickets starting at €190 per person and the public capacity already sold out. The palace, built in the 18th century and later turned into a hotel, has hosted the Pessoa Prize ceremony and now returns to its tradition of summer soirées.

From July 16 to 20, the 71st edition of the Festas de Negrais in the village of Negrais, Sintra, will offer a five‑day lineup of concerts, DJ sets and after‑parties. Acts include T‑Rex, Lon3r Johny, Deejay Telio and others, with daily tickets at €7 (or €10 with after‑party access) and multi‑day passes from €30. The event also features food stalls, bars and a religious tribute to Nossa Senhora de Fátima.
