Sinwar and Al-Houthi exchange messages on coordinated resistance efforts
Yahya Sinwar, head of the Hamas political bureau, sent a message to Ansar Allah leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi emphasizing the coordination between Palestinian resistance and Yemen in the ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ battle. Sinwar stated that the resistance is prepared for a long war of attrition intended to break the political will of the occupation. He praised the ability of Yemeni missiles to reach deep into Israel, suggesting that the integration of support fronts in Yemen, Lebanon, and Iraq is undermining efforts to isolate the Palestinian resistance.
In a separate communication sent a month prior to his death, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi affirmed Yemen's commitment to the Palestinian cause despite political, military, or economic pressures. Al-Houthi highlighted the continuous development of Yemeni missile capabilities and naval operations in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and Arabian Sea, with intentions to expand operations toward the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean. He characterized the Palestinian struggle as a duty for all Muslims and noted the ongoing efforts to target Israeli objectives in areas such as Jaffa.
