Sioux Falls and Sioux Valley football results

In recent football action, the University of Sioux Falls Cougars secured a 29-28 overtime victory against MSU Moorhead at Bob Young Field. Trailing 21-13 with less than three minutes remaining, the Cougars drove 80 yards for a touchdown and a two-point conversion to force overtime. Following an MSU Moorhead score in the extra period, Bennett Brueck connected with Adonis Hutchinson for a 24-yard touchdown, and a successful two-point conversion to Blake Stahl secured the win, moving USF to 2-1 on the season.

In high school football, Sioux Valley fell 27-26 to McCook Central/Montrose. The game was marked by three lightning delays. Sioux Valley nearly completed a comeback in the final minute, but a referee's decision on a goal-line stand favored McCook Central/Montrose, allowing them to take a one-point lead with 27 seconds left. Sioux Valley failed to convert their two-point attempts during the game.
