Sipho Mbule explains choice of Orlando Pirates over Kaizer Chiefs

Midfielder Sipho Mbule has revealed the reasons behind his decision to join Orlando Pirates over interest from Kaizer Chiefs following his departure from Mamelodi Sundowns. Mbule stated that after his contract with Sundowns ended, he was approached by several clubs, including Chiefs. However, he chose the Soweto giants because coaches, including Rulani Mokwena, convinced him that Pirates offered the best platform for a career comeback.

Mbule made between 21 and 23 appearances for Orlando Pirates during a single season before leaving the club. His move to the Iraqi side Zakho SC marks a new chapter in his career as he seeks to rediscover the form that once made him a highly regarded talent in South African football.
