Sir Perugia to host Suntory Sunbirds Osaka in Oji Cup matches

Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia will host the Suntory Sunbirds Osaka in a double volleyball friendly match for the Oji Cup on October 7 and 8 at the PalaBarton in Perugia. The event, organized by Sport Events Society, features the Japanese club, which includes Tunisian player Wassim Ben Tara.

The Suntory Sunbirds Osaka is a highly decorated Japanese club, holding ten national titles and having previously won the Asian Championship. The matches serve as a technical and organizational exchange between top-tier volleyball entities.

All proceeds from the two matches will be donated to the “Daniele Chianelli” Life Committee in Perugia, an organization that has supported onco-hematology patients and funded research for over 35 years. Both matches are scheduled for 20:30.
