Sir Susa Scai Perugia gears up for new season as Italian champions

The Sir Susa Scai Perugia volleyball club, known as the Block Devils, will resume training in a week at the Palazzetto di Pian di Massiano, preparing for the upcoming Italian league and international commitments. The team, fresh from winning the national title, aims to compete for the European Championship and a possible Olympic berth. Veteran opposite Kamil Semeniuk, fresh from a VNL victory with Poland, returns for his fifth consecutive season, bringing experience and a strong scoring record. Coach Angelo Lorenzetti highlighted the squad’s unity and the support of the fans, while president Gino Sirci announced a new slogan, “Ricominciamo,” to mark the start of the campaign. The club will unveil a new roster on 12 August, blending seasoned players with newcomers as they look to maintain their dominance on the court.
