Siroos Ebrahimzadeh, veteran Iranian actor, passes away

Veteran Iranian actor Siroos Ebrahimzadeh has passed away. Born in Ardabil in 1937, Ebrahimzadeh enjoyed a prolific career spanning five decades across theatre, cinema, television, and radio.

He was highly educated, holding a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Tehran and a Master’s degree in Theatre and Music from the University of Birmingham and the London Academy of Dramatic Art.

His notable works include theatrical productions such as ‘Othello’ and ‘Jafar Khan Has Returned from Abroad,’ as well as cinematic and television roles in films like ‘Kamal-ol-Molk’ and series such as ‘Ashpazbashi’ and ‘Cactus.’ Beyond acting, he was also active as a director, translator, and writer.
