Sisak and Svetozar Miletić host music and culinary festivals

Sisak will host the 26th Miroslav Miletić Days from September 24 to 30, 2026. The event commemorates the composer, violist, and pedagogue Miroslav Miletić, who was born in Sisak 101 years ago. The festival features four trios: the Zagreb Klezmer Trio, Trio Evocación, Trio Cristosomo, and a final ensemble featuring flute, mezzo-soprano, and guitar. The program includes works by Miletić alongside contemporary pieces by Croatian authors.

In Svetozar Miletić, the 19th Kulen Fest is scheduled for September 26. The festival celebrates the traditional production of kulen sausage, a craft maintained by the Vidaković family for decades. The event, held at the Dom kulture, will feature a cultural and artistic program, concerts, and a raffle. Local producers emphasize the importance of high-quality meat, domestic paprika, and traditional drying processes in creating the award-winning product.
