Sisak City Theatre announces Shakespeare premiere and beer festival

The Sisak City Theatre has announced the premiere of William Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’. Directed by Lea Anastazija Fleger, this modern adaptation focuses on themes of youth, relationships, and social media influence. The production is a co-production between the Sisak City Theatre and the Trešnjevka Cultural Center from Zagreb.

Additionally, the city is preparing for the 12th Sisak Beer Festival on September 12, 2026. The event will feature a brewery route, a Craft Beer Village with various producers, and musical performances, including a concert by the group Psihomodo Pop.
