Sisak opens new Economic School building

The new building for the Economic School Sisak was officially opened in Sisak, Croatia, providing the institution with its own dedicated facility for the first time in its 70-year history. The project was a collaborative effort between the Sisak-Moslavina County and the Government of the Republic of Croatia.

The modern three-story facility covers approximately 3,700 square meters and includes 18 classrooms, specialized laboratories, and other educational amenities. The new space allows more than 240 students and 40 staff members to transition from a two-shift schedule to a single-shift system.

The school had previously been operating out of the Ivan Kukuljević Primary School, a building that suffered significant damage during a previous earthquake. The opening ceremony was attended by Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, several ministers, County Prefect Ivan Celjak, and other local officials.
