Sisal Territory teams advance in Intermunicipal 2026

The first phase of the Intermunicipal 2026 tournament has concluded, with seven of the eight teams from the Sisal Territory advancing to the second phase. The advancing teams include Tucano, Santaluz, Conceição do Coité, Valente, Barrocas, Serrinha, and Biritinga. Ichu was the only representative from the region to be eliminated, finishing the phase without any points.

In a notable match, Conceição do Coité defeated Ichu 7-0. Kaik Ourolândia scored a hat-trick during the game, contributing to Coité's second dominant victory over Ichu this tournament. Santaluz finished at the top of Group 3 with 12 points, followed by Coité with 10 points.

The second phase will feature three regional matchups: Biritinga against Santaluz, Valente against Barrocas, and Conceição do Coité against Serrinha. Tucano will face Rio Real. The first leg of the second phase is scheduled for Sunday, the 27th, with return matches on Saturday, the 3rd, due to the 2026 election schedule.
