Sistema FAEP launches Brazil's first agricultural machinery escort course

Sistema FAEP has launched a first-of-its-kind training course in Brazil focused on the escort of agricultural machinery. This initiative follows Resolution 1.017/2024 from the National Traffic Council (Contran), which established new criteria for the registration and circulation of tractors and other agricultural machines on public roads.

Under the new regulations, escorts are required for machinery exceeding 2.80 meters in width when traveling on highways. The 12-hour course, developed in collaboration with rural unions and the State Highway Police, aims to provide both theoretical and practical training. The program is designed to teach producers and their families how to signal roads, guide other drivers, and respond safely to unforeseen incidents during transport.
