Sisu 2 action film arrives on Viaplay streaming service

The Finnish action film Sisu 2, directed by Jalmari Helander, has been added to the Viaplay streaming service as of Friday, September 4. The film serves as a sequel to the 2022 hit, continuing the story of Aatami Korpi, played by Jorma Tommila.

In this installment, Korpi travels into Soviet-occupied Karelia to retrieve the logs from his former home to rebuild it on the Finnish side. His journey is complicated by a violent Soviet officer, Commander Igor Draganov, who is responsible for the death of Korpi's family. The film features international cast members including Stephen Lang and Richard Brake.

Sisu 2 premiered in Finnish theaters on October 22, 2025, and was released internationally under the title ‘Sisu: Road to Revenge’. Helander is currently working on a new project, a Rambo prequel.
