SITA workers assaulted in Amalfi Coast

Labor unions FILT CGIL and FIT CISL in Salerno have expressed solidarity with two SITA employees who were victims of recent assaults in the Amalfi Coast.

In one incident in Massa Lubrense, a passenger physically attacked a driver, causing facial injuries, after a dispute regarding the timing of the vehicle's air conditioning. A separate incident occurred in Ravello, where a worker was subjected to verbal threats and intimidation while attempting to manage a queue, resulting in a medical emergency due to stress. The unions have condemned these violent behaviors and called for strengthened security measures to protect public transport workers.
