Sitinjau Lauik Fly Over construction enters physical work phase

West Sumatra Governor Mahyeldi Ansharullah has confirmed that the construction of the Sitinjau Lauik Fly Over (FOSL) has transitioned into the physical work phase following the completion of land acquisition processes.

During a site inspection alongside representatives from Hutama Karya and the National Road Implementation Agency (BPJN), the Governor noted that progress is encouraging despite the project's technical complexity. The infrastructure involves sophisticated designs, including Bridge 3 with a curved construction spanning approximately 180 meters and Bridge 4 featuring a cable-stayed design with a span of about 300 meters.

Mahyeldi expressed appreciation for the coordination between various stakeholders, including the Ministry of Public Works, Agrinas, the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), and local governments, emphasizing that the synergy required for this strategic project should serve as a model for future infrastructure developments in the region.
