Sivakarthikeyan resumes ‘Seyon’ filming in Madurai

Actor Sivakarthikeyan has returned to film production, traveling to Madurai to begin the next shooting schedule for the Tamil film ‘Seyon’. The move follows a brief personal break in Ooty.

Directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, the project is produced by Raaj Kamal Films International in association with Turmeric Media. The film’s first schedule was completed on June 10, and production originally commenced in Madurai on May 18 with a ceremony attended by Kamal Haasan.

The film features actress Baghyashrii Borse in her first direct Tamil-language feature. Interest in the production has been bolstered by a released glimpse titled ‘The Celebration’, which depicts events related to the Maasi Kalari festival at the Karumaathur Virumaandi Temple.
